Do you love organising, supporting people, and being part of a creative, high-energy environment? We’re looking for a Studio Operations & Events Coordinator to help keep our studio running smoothly and bring our shows and competitions to life.

You need to be highly organised, friendly and customer-focused, experienced in administration, have excellent attention to detail and work well in a team as well as autonomously. You will be working with the director and our instructors as part of a passionate team in our established pole dancing studios. Our studios are based at the City and Fyshwick but the person in this role is expected to work remotely. 

Initially and ongoing training and support will be provided. Our studio community is diverse and inclusive. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

  • Approximately 10-12 hours per week (casual, flexible hours) + extra during events. The nature of the studio schedule will mean exact hours will differ week to week.

  • Administration & Student Support

    • Manage studio emails daily, respond to enquiries, and handle bookings.

    • Support student onboarding and retention (welcome emails, follow-ups, friendly check-ins).

    • Process payments and track overdue/inactive students.

    Instructor & Team Support

    • Communicate studio updates with instructors.

    • Manage class timetables, including some cover coordination.

    • Train instructors in use of Momence booking system.

    • Liaise with social media manager to ensure studio updates and promotions are on track.

    • Maintain clear communication between director, instructors, and students.

    Sales & Growth

    • Promote studio offerings (classes, workshops, shows).

    • Handle heels and merchandise orders, track inventory.

    • Support promos to attract new students and retain current ones.

    • Confidently talk about studio memberships and encourage upgrades.

    Events & Shows

    • Assist with planning, logistics, and delivery of showcases, competitions and events.

    • Manage performer applications, ticketing and communications.

    • Coordinate backstage.

    • Be hands-on during event weeks (setup, rehearsals, show nights, packdown).

    Studio Operations

    • Keep the studio stocked with toiletries, cleaning supplies, and merchandise.

    • Flag maintenance issues and arrange small repairs.

    • Maintain a tidy, professional studio environment.

    • Run basic reports (attendance, student numbers, sales summaries).

    Leadership & Backup

    • Work autonomously and take initiative in problem-solving.

    • Escalate only major issues to the director.

    • Possibility to act as cover for the director during holidays or other leave.

    • Attend a weekly meeting with the director (availability required).

    • Friendly and outgoing with excellent customer service skills and a love for helping people

    • Highly organised with ability to multitask, be adaptable and prioritise tasks.

    • Attention to detail.

    • Strong decision making skills with ability to work autonomously and unsupervised with limited direction.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Confident in applying studio policy and managing conflict resolution

    • Experienced in Google Docs, including Docs and Sheets and Forms.

    • Confident in new systems and tech-savvy.

    • Must have access to their own computer and internet connection.

    • Sales/customer service experience (comfortable upselling classes)

    • Flexible with hours and available during event weekends (extra paid hours)

    • Understanding of the Pole Dancing Industry.

    • Experience in using Momence or other booking software

    • Sales experience and/or events coordination experience
